Join the Volunteer Team for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025!

The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 organizing committee from Latvia is inviting enthusiastic individuals to apply for volunteer positions.

The long awaited EuroBasket 2025 - which will take place from August 27 to September 14 - will be the largest sporting event of its kind in Latvia, as the country hosts the Knockout stage of the FIBA EuroBasket for the first time. Following the Group stage, the top 16 national teams from across Europe will compete in Riga.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with some of Europe’s biggest basketball stars while gaining invaluable experience in organizing a world-class sporting event.

Volunteers must have good English language skills (additional languages are a plus).Prior experience in similar events is an advantage. Knowledge of basketball, sports journalism, hospitality, or IT can be beneficial for specific roles.

Most importantly, applicants must be available to work at least ten days during the championship period (August 27 – September 14), particularly on game days.

All volunteers will receive the necessary training to successfully carry out their roles.

The application process is open to all individuals aged 15 and older. Students must have good academic standing. Applications must be submitted by May 3, 2025.

Selection results will be announced in early June.
